Hello, If any of you are planning on going to Bead and Button this year I hope you remembered class sign ups started
on Tuesday. You should also plan on getting your hotels rooms very quickly. If you would like to go but don’t
know anyone going I am compiling a list of people going and we can maybe carpool or get some sort of transportation.
So let me know and I will keep everyone informed. If you don’t know, Bead and Button is the largest consumer bead
show in the world. They have about 20,000 attendees and there are people coming from all over the world. It is
held in Milwaukee – only 6-7 hours out our back door. It is an experience not to miss. Start saving your
money and making your lists, if you can’t find it there it doesn’t exist. Bead
Swap is just around the corner. We are starting to collect bead swap items tomorrow through next Thursday. So
if you haven’t started getting your bead swap stuff ready you better get going. You have the weekend to get it
all ready. The rules and info is attached below but feel free to call if you have any questions. And be sure to
put Saturday 1/23/10 from 10-3 on your calendars. That is when you can come and purchase all these fabulous treasures.
You will find the best deals in town at the bead swap! Don’t forget
Ladies Night Out is also Saturday 1/23/10 and many people love this particular event because we bring over all the left over
bead swap stuff and we get to go through it all night and select things we missed the first time through. We have also
made more room in the back of the store so we will not be so crowded for our working space. It will be a great night.
We have been enjoying macramé in the stitch study group these
last weeks. We are finding how fast and fun macramé can be and no it doesn’t look like the 70s pot holder
we all used to make. Actually if you add enough beads you would never know it is macramé. But if you want
the design and threads, or hemp, to show more it just means adding more knots and less beads. Be sure to stop in and
see our samples and watch out progress as we move through this series. Anyone is welcome to join us at any time in the
series so just call or email to sign up. We can then give you a materials list. If you didn’t notice on
last week’s newsletter we ordered a ton of new hemp and macramé threads and macramé books, so if you are
working on this without classes we have great new stuff! NEW PRODUCTS We are expecting 25+ new colors of seed beads tomorrow
afternoon. These are either colors we have not had in a very long time, or have never had before. Paula went wild

EVENTS *Open Beading
and Show & Tell every Saturday 11-4 PM.This is open for everybody, our tables are set up and ready for you to come in and work on your projects, It
is so great to be able to work and design right in the shop so you can choose beads off the wall and see if they will work
with your ideas and patterns. It is also nice to be with like minded people and get all sorts of opinions and suggestions
(even when you don’t ask for it - Ha) The best advantage: no family and chore distractions. Come and join
us for the fun and quality work time! *OPEN STUDIO: FUSINGNow you can come in and use our classroom and supplies for fusing cabochons
and baubles. You must first have taken the Glass Fusing: Basics class and you will need call in and sign up for
your space with a deposit as space is very limited. The fees for room time is 10.00 per hour and $3.00 for each firing
with your material, $5.00 for each firing with our materials, $1.00 additional for each firing and with dichroic glass.

Private tutoring is now $20.00
per hour, 10.00 for each additional person you bring. We have calendars, samples, and pictures in the store for the classes. If you would like me to email or snail

CLASSES: Finally classes just for the kids. We are offering them in two types of classes. I am not putting
ages limits on them, more skill limits. Beginner classes will be for the younger kids, or any kid with a shorter attention
span and are trying out beading. These classes will be fun, fast and easy projects. The advanced classes for older
and more advanced crafters. They will be like the adult classes but with kid lie themes and more attention. ·
